The sisters are eating chicken nuggets and fries and they're not giving me any. I keep on begging and even trying to quietly sneak a nugget off one of their plates. Sadly, I never got any nuggets, at least not yet.
In other news last night for the first time in my life it was raining super hard (well, that's not new) and there was a loud crashing sound, and every few seconds there was a bright flash in the sky. I was kind of freaked out, but I assumed it was a person so I waited at the door. Maybe there WAS people outside banging to get my attention so that I could have treats! I wish my people would have let me outside to see this person.
My poeple suddenly have an addiction to fish... WATER animals! They don't even eat them, they just look at them. That means less atention for me. Oh well, for now I'll just hope to get plenty of attention.

I have been feeling sick lately and unable to write. I threw up a bunch, but I just heard that my people are going to take me to the vet so that I can heal. My paw also hearts a bit in between the toes, I must have cut it on something or other, but I think the vet's goingto try to heal that too. On top of that, I have a cold. YEs, everyone feel sorry for the Corgi.
But today is also an exciting holiday, so I say Happy Howl-O-Ween. Or Holloween, I always seem to forget. The people are going to go trick or treating (sadly with out me) But I'm going to have the house to myself, and I can watch people go by all night! I'm getting a peanut butter-holloween treat, so bye!

Recently I went to a place called the doggy beach. As I'm sure you can guess, there were lots of other dogs there. I liked it alot because of that, but I couldn't play with them very well seeing as I was the only dog there that was stuck on a leash. Sure, my people did it so I wouldn't run away, but I still wish that I was off leash. Back to the subject of the beach, not only were the dogs fun, but the people were, too. They like to call me and give me alot of attention. But, the best
part of it was being able to cool down on a hot hawaiian day. When at first my people tried to lead me into the water, naturally I tried to run away. After they picked me up and carried me into the water, though, I loved it! Since this was shalow water, I could walk most of the time and didn't have to swim often. At the end of our doggy beach day, I didn't want to leave the water!
In other news, my people have been fussing over a saltwater fish tank thingy, but I still manage to get enough attention by crying and begging for it. All I have to say is this: That fish tank better not steal all of my attention.

Hi, I'm Jake and I'm a three-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I live in Honolulu, Hawaii with a family that has five people. The people are the mother, the father, two sisters, and a brother. Let me tell you how my life came to be the way it is.

When I was ten months old, I lived with a family in Anchorage, Alaska. They had two kids, but one, a son, got allergic to me. I was then sold to a family in Cordova, Alaska. I lived there for a few years, but only a few months ago, I went onto this scary thing called an "air plane." When I got off the airplane I was in Hawaii, and here I'm going to stay for about 4 years (at least thats what I think my people said.) Well, I'm ganna go chew a bone, bye!
